Prem Chandavarkar is the managing partner of CnT Architects, an award-winning 60-person firm in Bangalore, India. CnT seeks to construct a collaborative practice where design excellence is pursued in an organizational form that does not center on a few specific personalities. Chandavarkar is the former Executive Director of the Srishti Institute of Art Design & Technology in Bangalore, and has been a guest lecturer at schools in India, the US, New Zealand, and Switzerland. He writes and lectures about a wide variety of subjects covering architecture, urbanism, art, spirituality, cultural studies, politics, and education. Chandavarkar was the 2016 Walton Critic at the Catholic University of America School of Architecture and Planning. He likes to write blogs on various subjects such as architecture, urbanism, environment, art and cultural studies.
